The banner at the front said: “Annibyniaeth Indy Wales.” Among the demonstrators the leader of the Plaid Cymru, Adam Price. He said that he was "proud to march alongside my fellow citizens from all across Wales to proudly declare that Wales' brightest possible future is an independent nation at the heart of Europe.". The rally was called by All Under One Banner Wales in Cardiff today.
"Huge turnout in Cardiff for AUOB Cymru march" says Wales Online. Estimates suggest that more than 1,000 people, and possibly as many as 2,000 have attended it. The organisers hope tha march will get more people talking about Welsh independence in what they described as a "resurgence of interest". Speakers included Undod, Labour 4 Indy Wales, Plaid Cymru or Yes Cymru.
