Pro independence Venetian parties unify themselves in a single party

It was publicly presented on April 9th in Venezia and its called Partito dei Veneti (Venetians Party). Siamo Veneto, Indipendenza Veneta, Gruppo Chiavegato, Progetto Veneto Autonomo, Veneto Stato d'Europa unified their forces with a program calling for a Venetian self-government.

To coordinate the new party, two thirty-year-olds were chosen, young faces of Venetian independence, Veronese Giacomo Mirto has been appointed Coordinator and Treviso Daniele Visentin chosen as deputy coordinator. "The PdV has the ambition of being the territorial party of the Veneto, on the model of the territorial parties of Trento and Bolzano; with which, not surprisingly, we have signed a cooperation agreement. The only way to be like Trento and Bolzano is to do as Trento and Bolzano: territorial parties operate that have the sole aim of making the interests of their territory. So we have to do too. Giacomo Mirto said thet "The first battle we will conduct is that of the full implementation of Article 2 of the regional statute: self-government. In the coming weeks, we will convene in all the provinces of public assemblies where we will present the Party and launch our innovative political manifesto.
