The 1st Federal Congress of the party Grande Nord took place on February 17th in Milano.
Around 400 militants joined the "programme congress" to decide the guidelines of Grande Nord. Roberto Bernardelli, president of Grande Nord, explained that the party keeps the "dream" of a free Padania far from the Lega proposal after the betrayal of Matteo Salvini who, only four years ago, defended the Padania's independence. Monica Rizzi, federal secretary of the party stressed the scope of GN : “from Piemonte to Trentino in the Friuli”. GN is not interested in the Italian state politics nor in Rome but in a confederal European region inspired in Gianfranco Miglio: everybody master of their house. Davide Boni, leads the lombardian section of GN and Corrado Callegari the Venetian one.
GN hosted Antonio Pappalardo, from Movimento Liberazione Italia, and a message from the Catalan nation and its political prisoners as well as Emanuela Riddington, from the Scottish National Party.
