The Fryske Marren will be ruled by CDA, christian democrats, FNP, Fryske Nasjonale Partij,
and VVD, liberals. Together they have 19 of the 31 board seats. The current group of aldermen will be able to continue his work and VVD member Jos Boerland will be included.
