They have obtained 71.9% of the votes in the general elections on June 5. The winner is the Socialist Left Inuit Ataqatigiit, with 6,881 votes and 33.4%. Second is the Siumat left-wing center-left with 6,058 votes and 29.4%. Both are divided into two Inuit seats (Eskimos) in the Danish parliament. Unionists are out of the Parliament. In spite of the victory both forces back down. In 2015 they reached 76.7% with 38.5% of AI and 38.2% of Siumat.
In the Faroe Islands, left-wing independentists, Tjóðveldi, Republic, lose their seat in 2015 and drop by 18.6%. The liberal independentists Framsókn, Progresa, get a 2.5%, even lower than 3.2% of 2015. That year Republic won a bench with 24.5% of the votes being first force but now the unionists of right and left the two seats of the islands have been distributed.
