military cemetery in Úzvölgy, Gabriel Les, Minister of Defense. On June 6th angry Romanians Break into Úzvölgye WW1 Memorial Site, Attacking Peaceful Hungarian Protesters.
Transylvanian Hungarian National Council and the Transylvanian Hungarian People's Party, pointed out the seriousness of the discrimination and provocations of the Hungarians in Romania by placing the political prisoners in Szeklerland and the military cemetery in Úzvölgy. "The Hungarian heroes' tombs are destroyed, the Hungarian medical and pharmacist training are abolished, the Hungarian inscription sewn on the Pisces Csíksomlyó's mash suit, the Hungarian national symbols are persecuted, the use of the native language of the community is restricted".
If the anti-Hungarian provocations of the Romanian nationalists in Úzvölgy did not create a sense of danger in the Szeklers, the organization would not have been able to jump into the access threshold. The mpvements called for two rallies on June 18th and 27th to protect the Hungarian cemetery.
