Femu a Corsica (Let's build Corsica) General Assembly in Corti last December 2nd elected Jean-Felix Acquaviva, MP, as a General Secretary. The Corsican nationalist party with a European dimension was launched on July 29, 2017. On October 15th it hold its Cungressu Fundatore. In that congress Inseme per a Corsica, A Chjama and the Corsican Nation Party (PNC), joined Femu A Corsica. All of them are center right Corsica national parties. Finally Inseme per a Corsica, A Chjama both have dissolved in Femu a Corsica as a new political party but the PNC renounced to be in the General Assembly and finally it is out of the project.
Around 1,100 people were in Corti to elect the direction of Femu a Corsica marking a new era for the Corsican nationalist movement. Among them Gilles Simeoni, Corsica's president. The main aim of the new party is to be bring together more people and political sections.
