Both the 2016 and 2017 budgets devoted € 1,677,000 to the Asturian language and the Galician-Asturian dialect (eonaviego). The increase is focused on € 70,000 for television dubbing for children's series. The thickness, however, is for Asturian education, optional but available in all schools and growing.
