The Core In Fronte General Assembly was held in Corti on April 7th. In
the preamble activists voted a motion, presented by Jean Luc Albertini,
for a massive participation in the 13th April event in Bastia, in
support of prisoners and former prisoners. A national executive was elected formed by eighteen militants.
The independence party considered surrealist the position of Macron towards Corsica and approved a political document stating "In the historical way of the patriotic claim to assert its fundamental and national rights the Single Community can not be the institutional panacea for the next twenty years (...) Corsica must be endowed with a strong legislative power and exclusive competences in many fields such as education, culture and health."
